I was born and raised in Southern California alongside 5 siblings- one being a twin!
Baseball was an outlet for joy and connection for me in my early years. In 2012, after 4 years of college baseball at Fresno State I was drafted by the new York Yankees and ended up playing for 5+ years as a pitcher, eventually retiring in 2017 after reoccurring injuries.
In 2018, I was hit with overwhelming anxiety attacks. They debilitated me, and I didn’t know how to talk about them, ask for help or understand what I was going through. So I did the only thing I found available at the time—I dove inward and opened myself up, and started to deeply listen. I then began to move intuitively based on what my body was asking from me while exploring modalities like breathwork meditation, yoga and dance.
Music was a guiding force to find the moves that helped me come back to life. Its an essential element to my practice today.
Movement continues to be my tool to see and feel myself. It is how I process my experiences and emotions so I can become quiet and listen— to you, to the world, but most importantly to my own inner knowing.
You can find me walking barefoot to the beach for a surf most days. Playing golf, going to music festivals to dance, drawing, writing, painting or just going for cruise to take in the beautiful San Diego scenery.
